Bennington, VT (PRWEB) November 26, 2010

Starting November 23, Tofel Jewelers of Bennington, Vt. is giving away 22 free gifts of quality jewelry over 22 days, valued at over $ 8,000.00, to the lucky people who are the first to find these hidden treasures placed in random locations around the community. The store will be hiding one gift bag of fine jewelry each day, for 22 days, throughout Bennington, Vt. until the final gift is placed on December 24th. There are no obligations to the gift recipient, other than to accept the free gift in a season of giving.

Walter Tofel, 65, of Tofel Jewelers will be retiring on December 31st and closing his doors forever. Their free “community treasures” holiday giveaway effort is Tofel Jewelers’ way of thanking their clients and the community for their many years of loyal support.

Bennington Vt.-based radio station WBTN 1370AM will announce clues everyday at various times to find the randomly placed gift bags.

Some of the jewelry to be hidden in the town includes diamond, ruby and emerald rings, handcrafted necklaces, pearl earrings and a silver bracelet. On December 24th the final gift given will be a $ 1,000 diamond heart necklace.

In addition to the free jewelry giveaway, Tofel Jewelers is currently offering a 50-percent-off sale, good on all merchandise in the store.

Even though gold prices have increased close to 300 percent in the past five years, Walter Tofel avoided marking up his prices over that time.

Tofel Jewelers offers rare Antique and Estate Quality Jewelry, exceptional Diamond Engagement Rings, Rare Colored Diamonds and Colored Gemstone Jewelry and is located in Bennington, Vt. Some of their many fine pieces can be found at http://www.gems24-7.com.
