The week begins on Sunday December 5th with the gallery’s monthly estate auction; continues with Michaan’s Winter Fine Art Auction on Monday December 6; and ends the following Tuesday December 14th with the Fine Asian auction with a collection of Peking glass from the collection of Sanford and Ina Gadient.

This popular monthly estate auction will feature a large selection of works from all periods and for all collecting tastes and styles. Among the highlights are Asian works of art, decorative arts, estate and vintage jewelry, paintings and prints, silver, furniture and decorative arts from 19th though 20th centuries.

This event features a marvelous collection of traditional and contemporary American and European furniture, jewelry, decorative arts and fine art spanning the 18th through 20th centuries. Highlighed are a rare1854 watercolor portrait of a Russian statesman by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres (France, 1790-1867); a 1920 oil on canvas by the San Francisco-born E. Charlton Fortune; a magnificent pair of Meissen Porcelain Botanical Plaques; a Napoleon III Pietra Dura Mounted Ebonized Cabinet and fine jewelry by Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari and Patek Philippe.

selections of Peking glass from the world renowned collection of Sanford and Ina Gadient in the 14th’s Asian sale.
