Ulster County is becoming an increasingly popular getaway spot for weekend vacationers from New York City. Every part of the county is within a two hour drive from Midtown. If you are coming up here to ski, you can get the shuttle right from the Bus Depot up to the mountain for all one inclusive price and enjoy a whole full day of fresh powder! If skiing isn?t your things, you still don?t need a car. You can set up your base camp in any one of the local towns or villages in Ulster County. All the towns have bike rentals so feel free to rent a bike and cycle around town.

After you are done enjoying your gourmand feast, talk a walk down to the Rail Trail, you can rent a bike in many spot sin town as well. Enjoy a lovely stroll or cycle ride down the Rail Trails along the Wallkill. If you really feel like walking, walk always the way over the Hudson River on the Walkway over the Hudson!
